Mary roasted her little lamb

I forgot who I needed to smack hard across the face.

If you're the one, could you kindly move in between my hands so I could get the job done quickly?

I promise it will only sting for the day, unless I go berserk when I start, in which case, too bad.

Time flies

Our 1st Anniversary is coming up soon!

It's amazing how much we went through...from renovation problems, tonnes of red tape, snid comments from people who tell me how to run a business when they have utterly zero experience themselves nor will they have the guts to sink their money into an actual venture of their own and prove our business model wrong, naysayers who criticize everything we do (again, set up shop and prove me wrong, wagging your f**king tongue is incredibly easy), people who make empty promises to industry snipes expecting us to drop dead from the get go.

I really would like to thank friends (and customers turned good friends) for their constructive comments, their loyal and repeat support (you know who you are, the ones who always get fridge specials or weird stuff shoved in front of you), nice corporate clients (thank you NTUC, SCCC) who believed in a company barely 7 months in existence, wonderful wholesalers whom that little bit of assistance has helped us go so far (you really don't know how much it means to us),  the generosity of various papers and scribes who afford us precious news space (particularly Michelle, Sheryl, Sheela, Marcus, big big thank you), our very understanding landlord, and, especially,  the various strangers who came into our lives, giving us opportunities, time, a listening ear, opening doors, all the while asking for nothing in return.

I don't know if I will ever be able to repay each and every one of you for what you have given us, but we won't waste it.

At the end of the day, you can say whatever you want, but you can't say we didn't try our best.

P.S. To anyone expecting us to fail, FUCK YOU
